SEAT are a Spanish manufacturer, who have been making cars since 1950. SEAT initially manufactured cars in close collaboration with the Italian manufacturer, Fiat, until the early 1980s when SEAT became a subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group. Due to the influence of Volkswagen, many SEAT models have earned a much improved reputation in recent years. Volkswagen’s well earned reputation for reliability and good workmanship could only have a positive influence on discerning used car purchasers. Nowadays, a seat used car is a relatively economical buy for purchasers who are on a budget. The SEAT ranges are distinctively named after Spanish place names. The SEAT Ibiza, which was first introduced in 1984, has become SEAT’s best selling car. This super-mini style hatchback car can usually be purchased at a reasonable price, when compared to its equivalent Volkswagen model, the Polo. The SEAT Cordoba, the saloon, coupe and estate version of the Ibiza, is another popular used car buy. There are a wide range of other used SEAT models available, all at competitive prices when compared to their counterparts by other manufacturers. These include the Leon, a family car and two MPVs; the larger Alhambra and the more compact Altea.
